FAQ
How long should I soak the dried mushrooms?
Soak them in water for at least 45–60 minutes, or until they become fully rehydrated and tender.
Should I soak the dried mushrooms in hot water?
We recommend soaking them in normal-temperature water.
Should I wash the mushrooms before soaking?
You may rinse them briefly for 5–10 seconds before soaking to remove any surface particles. However, washing is not necessary. If you choose not to wash them, simply use the upper portion of the soaking water for cooking.
Do I need to store in refrigerator?
No. Refrigeration is not necessary. Simply store them at room temperature in a cool, dry place.
How long can I keep the mushrooms after opening the jar?
You can safely store and enjoy them for up to 6 months after opening the jar, provided they are kept properly sealed and stored in a cool, dry place.
How long will a 100g jar last?
It depends on how much and how often you use it. As a simple reference, 100g of dried mushrooms is equivalent to approximately 1kg of fresh mushrooms. So, if 1kg of fresh mushrooms would last you a certain amount of time, 100g of dried mushrooms should last you roughly the same.
Typically, you only need 5–10g per serving for one person, so a 100g jar can be used for at least 10 servings.
